Tom's in town!

Last week Ben's longtime friend, Tom, flew in from Minnesota to spend some time with us!  He had never been here so we did as much as possible while he was here.  My favorite night we all had together was when I forced them to walk from China Town to Times Square.  Walking, in my opinion, is the best way to see the city.

Here are some of my favorite pictures:

The second day my Dad wanted to see Strawberry Fields in Central Park.

We hit up Carnegie Deli afterwards, yummy!! (Pics from my iPhone).  This place is a must if you come to NY.  I would recommend sharing a sandwich :)

Afterward Shane and my Dad went to the Museum of Natural History while Ben and I walked home!

Grandpa and Uncle Shane visit NYC

My Dad and brother-in-law came to the big city!  They arrived on Saturday the 10th and departed Wednesday the 14th.  In the short time they were here we managed to see a lot!

Sunday was Veteran's Day so naturally we went to the 9/11 Memorial.  It was a special experience to see such a place with Ben, who is a veteran.  This is a must see if you ever come to New York.  I felt they couldn't have done a better job with making it a peaceful place to pay tribute while in the middle of constant hustle and bustle.
